HYPOTHESES

H1- When radio waves of different properties interact, the result is a sum of the properties of each wave.
H2- The wave interaction process is consistent, independent of the frequency band.

STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

This project is significant because people will understand how waves interfere or interact, and the transmission properties of various frequencies. Understanding the properties of waves can help identify why certain frequency bands are chosen for specific communications and other applications such as radar (images or weather).

PURPOSE

The purpose of this project is to test the relationship between frequency and interaction characteristics of waves. It is also to determine if wave interaction characteristics are independent of frequency, furthermore, to learn the properties of waves and wave interference, and how it relates to everyday life.
